Espresso On The Go

Short Pump residents will soon be able to get their daily Starbucks fix in a convenient drive-through. Similar to the location that recently opened on Gaskins Road at Mayland Drive, the Short Pump location will offer both inside seating and a drive-through window.

There’s no word on an opening date, but the building is nearing completion. It’s being constructed behind the Chili’s at Short Pump Town Center and is destined to do a booming business, despite two adjacent locations (one in the mall and one across the street at the Shoppes At Westgate).

    Another Starbucks?!?
Maybe Short Pump should consider changing it’s name to Starbucks.
Let’s see — one in Kroger, one in Target, one in Barnes & Noble, one in Short Pump Town Center, now one in the parking lot of Short Pump Town Center and let’s not forget one across the street from Short Pump Town Center.

I bet the new Kroger planned for the corner of Broad and Lauderdale gets one too.

Short Pump, Virginia — what a beautiful buzz.

let us not forget the Starbucks at West Broad Vilage, maybe they should move thier HQ from Seatle, to Short Pump

I thought Starbucks was closing hundreds of locations due to over-saturation? (None in Richmond, but still…)

Either way, I have to wonder about putting a drive thru Starbucks inside the SPTC complex… getting in and out of that location is already somewhat congested.
