As a followup to our earlier story, the two victims of a blaze that broke out Wednesday morning have been positively identified. 27-year-old Nitchawan Srikhamwong and 32-year-old Orawan Lungtaekul died in the fire that started around 4:30 AM.
It is not clear whether the two died of burns, smoke inhalation, or bodily trauma. The medical examiner’s office is expected to declare the cause of death after a thorough examination.
It was also released earlier today that one of the women was the victim of identity theft and was under tremendous financial pressure after someone charged upwards of $4,000 with credit cards taken out in her name. This is a part of the ongoing investigation, which officials stress could take many days, if not weeks.
