Sarah Palin To Hold Rally At Deep Run High School

Get ready for a dose of presidential campaign madness right here in Short Pump. A reputable source from a local TV news station has informed us directly that vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin plans to visit Deep Run High School for a rally this Saturday.
No further details have been released, other than the event will be held in the evening. There is also no word on whether tickets will be required for entry. More details will likely be released during the day Thursday. We’ll have more information as it becomes available, and plan to cover the event Saturday night.

This will be great. I’m glad she’s making a local Short Pump appearance. I wish people would look further into the candidates before voting. Obama is a radical who mentored under a racist Pastor for nearly 20 years. He even donated money to the guy, and yet people push that aside because he supposedly “cut his ties” with Wright. I find it hard to believe that you can listen to a pastor for 20 years and not hear what he’s saying. Don’t believe the hype and the media, Barack is a liar who’s got 2 years of Senate experience under his belt and that’s it.

It would be refreshing & encouraging in these very difficult times to see more people using their energies to lift people up & do the best they can to make life for all of us better. Demeaning and angry comments are contageous but so is courtesy & kindness. Let’s all try to spend more time educating ourselves on the facts in this election and be a little more tolerant of each other. In the big picture, aren’t we all in this together for the good of our country? We should be Americans first and Republicans, Democrats, etc. second. Give Sarah Palin the respect you would give the candidate of your choice. .
Keep in mind that all the Palin-bashers commenting here probably aren’t even old enough to vote. I wouldn’t take them seriously.

Palin deserves your respect no matter what yo think of her. I probably could not think any less of Joe Biden, but I acknowledge that he deserves my respect and I would never go to a rally and boo him.

I too am very happy at the thought of Sarah coming to Short Pump… but logistically, how can it happen at Deep Run? Her appearance at the Raceway brought 35,000+. I can’t wait to vote for her.

i go to Deep Run High School and can’t wait to see her. My dad is doing sound for her. (mixing, setting up speakers on stage, etc.)
