Welsh auto insurance company Admiral Insurance is bringing its United States operations to the Concourse At Wyndham office park in Short Pump. The headquarters would create between 40 and 50 new jobs. Admiral Americas CEO Andrew Rose said the company was interested in the area because of the large number of highly-qualified and talented workers in the region who have been displaced through layoffs.
The company also considered Charlotte, Dallas, and Chicago, but ultimately chose Richmond for a number of reasons including business climate and cost of living. The company is looking for talent in everything from human resources and information technology to finance and marketing.
