@bill - I hate to say this when I was a grad from Tucker but it really needs to either be upgraded, torn down and rebuilt, or just bulldoze the land and make a better, high tech school there and move the students to Hermitage and Freeman. The teachers at Tucker has horrible attitudes about the school and that was back in the 90s. If I had to choose, I would say redistrict the students and build something with more potential on the land. Thats just my opinion from my time there. -D '03

Tucker has the worst physical plant of any west end high school. It is old and hasn’t been renovated like Freeman has. Tucker’s district is also shaped like a snake or salamander. It is the least compact of any of the HS districts and I don’t feel guilty for not wanting my child to go there when 2 other High Schools are closer to my home.
