Henrico County Hosting Free Pesticide Disposal Event

Have pesticides sitting around that you need to dispose of? Henrico County is providing an easy way for you to get rid of them safely on Friday. The event is being hosted by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The event is free, and because of funding from the sale of pesticides, no taxpayer money will be used.

The event will be held at Henrico County’s Springfield Landfill on Nuckols Road near I-295. Homeowners as well as farmers, pest control companies, dealers and other entities are welcomed to participate.

Although pre-registration ended Thursday evening, walk-ups are still welcome.
