Shamin Hotels is hosting a two-day job fair to staff their newest hotel set to open in December at Towne Center West. The new Hilton Richmond featuring a Shula’s Steak House and Aura Spa and Salon is preparing to open its doors and will host a two-day job fair on October 13 and 14 to hire more than 100 employees.

Shamin Hotels has also added 10 other hotels to its portfolio within the past 12 months creating over 250 jobs in the Richmond area. “We are very pleased to create new employment opportunities for the Richmond region during this difficult economic climate,” Manager Devin Heath said. “Shamin Hotels has been committed to the Richmond area for the past 25 years and we look forward to growing with the region for many years to come.”

The Hilton will offer 254 guestrooms and suites, an event center with more than 22,000 square feet, Shula’s America’s Steak House as well as Aura Spa and Salon. Adjacent to Short Pump Town Center, the hotel is expected to provide a new, upscale experience to Short Pump and the entire Richmond Metro area.

The hotel can accommodate events up to 850 people with a 10,500 square foot ballroom. State and regional conferences will enjoy the variety of meeting rooms offering flexible space for executive meetings and breakout rooms. The Shula’s America’s Steak House will provide hotel guests and local residents with a fine dining restaurant with extraordinary options set in a unique upscale environment.

Aura Spa and Salon is a contemporary day spa and salon featuring a full service salon, manicure and pedicure stations and five treatment rooms including two of the areas only couple treatment rooms.

The incredible accommodations that make up the Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa will only be matched by the 4-star, 4-diamond service the management and staff will provide. The hotel’s General Manager, Devin Heath said, “We are looking forward to finding the best employees Richmond has to offer to become a part of this team.” Heath continued, “The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa will be Richmond’s premier hotel and therefore we are seeking employees to deliver excellent service to compliment this amazing facility.”

The job fair will be held on October 13 and 14 at the Comfort Suites Hotel in Innsbrook at 4051 Innslake Drive from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Employees will be interviewed for positions for the front desk, bellmen, housekeeping, engineering, Shula’s Steak House, banquets and the day spa.

A Great article on the Hilton Hotel! Thank you for that. The challenge is going to be to move the Innsbrook business to Short Pump? How do you do that?? I think the variety of activities offered by the Short Pump town center, the nearby restaurants and the other facilities in the vicinity will draw the people but will take some marketing.!!

We opened our hotel(Wingate by Wyndham) in January 09 and have slowly improved but need a boost in advertising. A similar aticle as the Hilton would be of a great benefit especially when we plan to complement each other rather than compete with each other.
Can you assist us with such an article? Thanks
