Cancer Foundation Sells Land At Deep Run Business Center

The Commonwealth Foundation for Cancer Research has sold 3.4 acres of land on Mayland Court in the Deep Run Business Center to Riverstone Properties LLC for $1.44 million. According to CoStar.com, the property was originally was deeded to the foundation by Riverstone Properties (along with RJS & Associates) as a gift in 2004. 

Due to economic hardship the foundation need to sell the property and Riverstone agreed to buy it back. The property group plans to hold the property and in the future sell to a developer to build a hotel on one parcel and a credit union on the other, according to CoStar.
