Godwin High School Student Removed After Threats & Rumors Of Hit List

Henrico Police report that an unidentified Godwin High School student was removed from classes last week after a threat was made, dealing with rumors of a possible hit list. The school resource officer was informed of the threat on November 4 and the student was suspended following a hearing on the matter.

The school used a phone system to inform parents that the school was again secure on November 6. The student remains suspended per Henrico County Public Schools policy governing such threats.

No further specifics were known about the incident at press time. We’ll follow this story as any updates become available.
