Popular Short Pump Restaurant Donating Portion Of Sales To Help Kids With Cancer


On Thursday, November 19, 2009, a popular Far West End restaurant will be doing its part to help out children suffering with cancer. Shackleford’s, in the Gleneagles shopping center off Ridgefield Parkway, will be donating 10% of all sales all day to the Tad DuPriest Foundation.

Henrico Police report that an unidentified Godwin High School student was removed from classes last week after a threat was made, dealing with rumors of a possible hit list. The school resource officer was informed of the threat on November 4 and the student was suspended following a hearing on the matter.
