Henrico Board Votes To Condemn Properties In North Gayton Road Right-Of-Way

The Henrico County Board of Supervisors voted in favor Tuesday night of beginning the condemnation process for five parcels of land that lie within the right-of-way for the North Gayton Road construction project. The $48 million road project was approved in July of 2009. Read more

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control has closed the Short Pump Crossing ABC Store located at 3406 Pump Road for remodeling as of Saturday, February 13. The store will reopen on Monday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. according to the Department website. Read more


Henrico Judge Freezes Assets Of Short Pump Community Center

The Henrico County Circuit Court has ordered a temporary freeze on the assets of the Short Pump Community Center until a final determination can be made by the State Corporation Committee on the dissolution status, or upon judgment from a higher jurisdictional court of Virginia. This order is the latest event in the current legal battle that surrounds the potential closing of the center. Read more
