Twin Hickory Resident Shot In Face Through Kitchen Window
Henrico Police are looking for a suspect after a man was shot in the face in his own kitchen in the Park Meadows subdivision of Twin Hickory late Thursday evening. Police were called to the 4900 block of Park Meadows Lane around 11:00 p.m. and found the 53-year-old victim with a single gunshot wound to the face.
Henrico Police Lieutenant Eric Owens says the victim, identified as the homeowner by Henrico County property records as Terrance Nero, was shot through a rear-facing bay window in the kitchen of the house.
“Judging from witness accounts it appears as though the suspect was hiding in the victim’s backyard before the shot was fired,” Owens said. “Seconds after the shot was fired, a witness observed the shadow of someone running from the scene.”
Nero was transported to VCU Medical Center and was in serious but stable condition at press time. There is no word on a suspect or motive at this time.
Anyone with information regarding this shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or Investigator C. E. Hanna at 501-5581.
We’ll continue to follow this story as more details emerge.

Don't know the circumstances here, but 99% of the time when something like this happens in an area like this it's not random but rather someone the victim knows, a domestic dispute, or a result of something the vicitim may have been involved in.
Regardless of weather it is someone he knows or something he was involved in. It is wrong to do something like this and there is no excuse for it. I hope they catch who ever did this and hang them by there toes until the end.
