A “U2charist” communion service featuring the music of rock band U2 will be held 7pm Sunday, February 19, in the sanctuary of Three Chopt Presbyterian Church.
“With a great selection of songs by U2, our sanctuary will be overflowing with joyful noise,” said Todd Davidson, minister of youth at Three Chopt Presbyterian Church. “U2charist will be an opportunity for people of all denominations and generations to gather in worship, celebrate communion, and share our gifts with those in need.”
The service, which will include live and recorded U2 music, is free and open to the public. An offering will be collected to benefit Bread For Life, a relief and development organization that addresses spiritual and physical hunger in Africa; and Central Virginia Food Bank.
