Henrico Police Make Arrest in Connection with Two Recent Far West End Robberies

Henrico Police investigators made an arrest on Wednesday in connection with a robbery outside SkateNation Plus in the 4300 block of Pouncey Tract Road that occurred on September 20th that was also linked to another recent robbery in the Innsbrook area.

A 16-year-old who was arrested for a separate robbery September 23rd in the 11100 block of W. Broad Street has been charged in connection with the SkateNation incident.

In addition to the previous charges, he has now been charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, two counts of possession of a firearm as a minor, and two counts of sexual battery.

Two adult female victims were inappropriately touched during the SkateNation robbery resulting in the sexual battery charges. The two females reported that a male subject displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot with several items belonging to the victims.

The suspect’s name is being withheld because he is a minor.
