It’s adios for one of Short Pump’s many Mexican restaurants. Plaza Guadalajara in the Downtown Short Pump shopping center has closed after defaulting on its lease. The restaurant, in the same building as SkateNation Plus, Buffalo Wild Wings, and TheaterXtreme, had a 4,000-square-foot space and had been in business since 2007.
There are a handful of other Mexican restaurants within a stone’s throw of Plaza Guadalajara, including Plaza Azteca, Casa Grande, and Mexico Restaurant.
No further details on the reason for Plaza Guadalajara’s closure were available at press time.
