Two women were robbed at gunpoint outside SkateNation Plus in the Downtown Short Pump shopping center Wednesday evening. Officers responded to a parking lot in the 4300 block of Pouncey Tract Road shortly after 5:30 p.m.
Two adult females reported that a male subject displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot with several items belonging to the victims.
The suspect is described as a brown-eyed black male between 17 and 22 years old, 5’3″-5’6″, and weighing approximately 120-150 pounds. He was wearing a black bandana on his head, a black t-shirt, and black or dark blue jeans.
Henrico Police believe the suspect fled on foot across Pouncey Tract Road. Detectives ask anyone who saw someone matching the above description running across Pouncey Tract Road near the Wal-Mart parking lot around 5:45 p.m. to call Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
